Breeding goal: A dark pink gold edged that resists northern winters.
Expectations: I only have 4 seeds, but both parents are dormant! That's
why I wanted this cross. Update: These four seedlings are the biggest ones by far, and I planted them mid-winter. They are impressively husky, all four of them.

Notes: July 5. FFO. Given that this was my most vegetatively vigorous and trunk-like seedlings by
far, this ugly flower sure is a disappointment.
Notes: July 8. Very different from FFO, but can't say the changes are an improvement.
Notes: July 10. FFO. This one is infinitely better than the first.
Notes: July 14. FFO. Too bad the flower isn't large; this one has an instant rebloom scape coming up,
something I've never witnessed in these cold parts where I live.
